RGG history
Formed in April 2007 by Finch and Sawyer, The Regiment of the Grenadier Guards was designed as a realism unit for Armed Assault, though the aims of the unit quickly changed. RGG is now the clan equivalent to a night out on the town. However, we conduct ourselves according to server rules and regulations and still take pride in playing properly.
Most of RGG can be found in various tournaments for Armed Assault, which provide realism based gameplay for those who want it. The games that you will usually find members of RGG playing are Armed Assault, Project Reality Mod for Battlefield 2, and Call of Duty 4. RGG has strong links to Project Reality, as within our ranks we have three project reality developers.
Being a member of The Regiment is all about enjoying yourself as much as possible, whether that means grabbing a “Pet Pubby” and admiring his eyes, saying “Like” and “aye” and “man” a lot or just being downright idiotic (you know who you are), you’re pretty much guaranteed to fit in… as long as you’re up for a laugh.
